Despite having in his résumé some of the most important characters in science fiction movies, Harrison Ford hasn’t changed his mind about his love for that movie genre. However, he is back in the field with Ender’s Game.
“My taste in movies has nothing to do with my work. I’m not a big fan of science fiction” Harrison Ford said while promoting Ender’s Game, a film based on the bestseller by Orson Scott Card.

Ender’s Game first glimpse is here. The movie is set in a future where humans are being dominated by an alien race and start training young teens to command their star fleets. The most promising student is Ender (Asa Butterfield), who enters Battle School and starts learning under the tutelage of colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford).
It was about time to see something new from the upcoming movie Ender’s Game. And here it is! We can finally see how Harrison Ford looks as Colonel Hyrum Graff! We also get a glimpse of Ender’s school as well as Ender himself. This must mean something bigger is coming soon: posters, teasers, etc.

Orson Scott Card Visits Set of Film
The writer of the popular Science Fiction book had a chance to visit the set of the film, and even though Card reveals that many of the scenes aren’t based from the book, he seems very impressed with the acting of the film. Below he gives his thoughts on how he felt while experiencing his book brought to life, specifically a certain scene between Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield as Col. Last week, via the Ender’s Game production blog, Roberto Orci invited fans of Orson Scott Card’s novel to ask questions about the movie. Sorry about the mess.. but the adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game is slated to hit theaters a little bit later than originally planned. Summit Entertainment announced today that the sci-fi adventure will hit theaters on November 1, 2013 instead of the originally announced date of March 15, 2013, that means eight months later!
Ender’s Game is currently shooting in New Orleans, Louisiana. You can check out updates from the set at the film’s official production blog every Wednesday.

Summit Entertainment’s feature film Ender’s Game will shoot February 24, 2012 to June 8, 2012 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The impressive cast list includes Harrison Ford, who will play Col. Hyrum Graff, a commander who notes the high intelligence of Andrew “Ender” Wiggin at his Battle School; Abigail Breslin will play Valentine Wiggin, Ender’s older sister; Hailee Steinfeld plays Petra Arkanian, one of the few female students at the Battle School; Ben Kingsley plays Mazer Rackham, a member of the International Fleet – an organization created to protect Earth from the alien Formics. South African filmmaker Gavin Hood is directing from an adopted screenplay he wrote himself.
